    Delana Jayne Parker and Robert Christopher Miles Rountree, both of Wilson, exchanged wedding vows May 31, 2014, in a five o’clock ceremony at First United Methodist Church in Wilson. The Reverend Doctor William Presnell officiated at the ceremony.

    Bowl for the Cure, a benefit for breast-cancer research, will take place Saturday, Oct. 25, at Rainbow Lanes, 850 N.C. 42 West, Clayton. Register at 11 a.m. and play at noon, or register at 2 p.m. and play at 3. The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children 10 and younger.
