    Get to know her: Marian is a 8-year-old, 12-pound, orange tabby domestic shorthair. She is very mellow and laid-back, and would enjoy a peaceful home. She likes snuggling and is very low maintenance.


    Mendelev to perform at Wakefield Central Baptist

    Euorpean tenor Viktor Mendelev will perform at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, at Wakefield Central Baptist Church, 308 Proctor St., Zebulon. Mendelev will perform Christian music during both services.

    Get to know her: Chanterelle is a 5-month-old white-and-black domestic shorthair. She is very playful and full of energy, but also loves to cuddle and give kitten kisses. She has been fostered with children and cat-friendly dogs and does will with both.
