Ice cream social

An ice cream social is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 1082 Amelia Church Road, Clayton. The evening will offer ice cream and games.

Food giveaway

Christ Community United Methodist Church will give away food to the needy starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at the church, 1082 Amelia Church Road, Clayton. Those receiving food must have their ID with them. For more information, call the church office at 919-553-9770.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School for all ages is scheduled from 6 to 8:45 p.m. June 23-27 at Believers Baptist Church, 100 Southerland Road, Clayton. For more information, call Pastor Eugene Worley at 919-631-0817 or Kate Wilson at 919-604-3585.

Vacation Bible School for children ages 3-12 is scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 16-20 at Clayton Community Church, 5586 Covered Bridge Road, Clayton. For more information, call 919-796-2087 or register at claytoncommunitychurch.org.

Programs, services

Starting June 18, Grace Episcopal Church will offer Communion at 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 16. The church is at 111 Lee Court in Clayton. That’s off of N.C. 42 West. For more information, call 919-553-2810 or visit graceepiscopalclayton.dionc.org.

Christ Community Church has moved to its summer schedule. That’s coffee, juice, fruit and fellowship at 9:45 a.m., morning worship at 10 a.m. and then a potluck lunch and information about upcoming activities. A tent revival is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. June 25-27 at Smith-Collins Park on East Lee Street in Smithfield.
