Wildcat Club Golf Outing

The annual Wildcat Club Golf Outing to benefit the West Johnston High School athletic programs will be held at 1p.m. on Friday, July 18, at Reedy Creek Golf Course. Baseball camp

The Cleveland High School Rams will host a baseball camp from 9 a.m. to noon June 23-26 at the main campus of Cleveland High, 1892 Polenta Road, Clayton. Registration is $80 for one child and $140 for two. Contact head coach Jamie Lee at JamieLee@johnston.k12.nc.us for a registration form.

Three Little Pigs Triathlon in Smithfield

The Chick-fil-a Three Little Pigs Triathlon will be held in Smithfield on Saturday, June 14, with a 7:30 a.m. start. The race includes a 250-yard pool swim, a 14-mile bike ride and a 3.1-mile run. The event starts and finishes at the Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center. Register online at fsseries.com (event 169) until the event is full. Both individual and relay team entries are being accepted.

Wrestling Camp at West Johnston

A Rob Waller All-American Wrestling Camp will be held June 16-20 at West Johnston High School. The camp includes six hours of daily instruction. The fee is $175. Johnston Horse Show Series for 2014

The Johnston County Horse Show Series dates for 2014 are set. These shows are open to all riding disciplines and equine breeds. Dates for 2014 are June 28, Aug. 9-10 (at Hunt Horse Complex, Raleigh), Sept. 20, Oct. 25 and Nov. 22. Summer youth basketball program

The Johnston County Youth Development Basketball League will offer a summer program, partnering with Networks Basketball to provide sessions of basketball and life-skills development. The program will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 23-24 and July 7-8 bat locations in Clayton and Smithfield. The cost is $55 per player. An exhibition night of play will be held at 6:30 p.m. July 14 at the Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center.
