Pirates open softball season with victory

Corinth Holders opened its softball season with an 11-6 victory over Southern Nash Wednesday. Aiyana Campbell had two hits and drove in two runs for the Pirates in the victory.

Brandy Davis was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI and Kalin Mitchell also drove in two runs.

Kayla Meares went the distance for Corinth Holders on the mound with nine strikeouts and four earned runs allowed.
