Clayton arrests

Rafaelle Smith, 27, of 14 Belhaven Drive, Clayton, was arrested Oct. 22 and charged with obtaining property under false pretense.

Gregory Lynn Williams, 52, of 511 Camel St., Clayton, was arrested Oct. 20 and charged with driving while impaired and making an unsafe movement.

Carlos Eduardo Lopez-Angel, 32, was arrested Oct. 18 and charged with assault on a female.

Clayton incidents

On Oct. 23, someone reported general mischief in the 1700 block of Glen Laurel Road.

On Oct. 23, someone broke into a vehicle parked at McCall’s Bare-B-Que and Seafood restaurant on U.S. 70 Business.

On Oct. 23, someone slashed the tires of a car parked in the 200 block of Alder Lane.

On Oct. 21, police responded to a domestic dispute in block 20 of Cheltenham Drive.

On Oct. 20, someone threatened a resident in the 300 block of North Lombard Street.

On Oct. 20, someone broke into a residence in the 300 block of East Hinton Street.

On Oct. 19, someone assaulted a female in the 900 block of Hobbs Street.

On Oct. 19, someone assaulted a man at the Clayton House assisted-living center on Dairy Road.

On October 18, someone damaged the windshield on a car parked at Lone Star Steakhouse on U.S. 70 Business.

On Oct. 18, Walmart reported the theft of merchandise valued at $99.81.


Conrad Jerome Avent, 41, who was arrested Oct. 14 on a charge of violating a domestic violence protective order, does not live at 503 Starling St. in Clayton.
