Cleveland group backs bond issue

Please be advised that the Cleveland Elementary School Advisory Council fully supports the bond referendum that is scheduled to be voted on by the citizens of Johnston County on Nov. 5.

We firmly believe this bond should be approved and supported by the parents of all students attending schools in Johnston County. Our children deserve the best education possible in buildings that are fully-equipped to help attain that goal.

Johnston County continues to grow, and we must keep up with this growth. We, as supporters, do not wish for our children to be educated in mobile units on crowded campuses. Instead, we want them to attend classes in new, fully-equipped and fully-staffed buildings.

Again, we support this bond referendum and will be voting on Nov. 5 in support of the county’s efforts to provide what is needed for children today and in the future.
