Summer social

The Chamber Women’s Business Network will hold Taste of Tuscany, a summer social, from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, in Room 1404 of the Johnston Medical Mall on North Bright Leaf Boulevard in Smithfield. The cost is $12 per person and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, lemonade and a raffle.

Financing Your Small Business – 6-9 p.m. Monday, July 22, in Room 1032 of the Workforce Development Center. Topics include the importance of a strong business plan, lender financing options, SBA loan processes, and tips for grant research and writing.

Status Update: The Impact of Your Employees’ Social Presence on Your Business – 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, in Room 1033 of the Workforce Development Center. Learn how to design and implement policies related to the social reputation of your employees.
