Johnston Community College will offer a manicurist class July 29-Dec. 12.
The class will meet from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays in Room C2019 in the Wilson Building on the main campus in Smithfield. The class provides instruction and clinical practice in manicuring, application and maintenance of artificial nails, and pedicuring.

Skills for a New Career 9 a.m.-noon July 22-25 in the Wilson Building on the Smithfield campus. Can you sell yourself to potential employers? Build your self-confidence and learn how to network. This class will introduce social networking and online applications, as well as including a self-assessment.
Job Searching Using Technology 9 a.m.-2 p.m. July 29-Aug. 1 and Aug. 5-8 in the Learning Resource Center on the Smithfield campus. This course is designed to enhance the job seekers ability to use technology in the job-search process.
