Clayton arrests

•  Mar. 6, 9:18, Emery Maurice Orgain, 33, 214 Raeford St., Mullens, SC, was charged with attempting to obtain a controlled substance through fraud. He was placed in the Johnston County Jail under $10,000 secured bond.

Mar. 5, 4:15 p.m., Travis Allan Johnston, 21, 601 Moore St., Clayton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny of goods from Walmart.

•  Mar. 5, 10:20 p.m., Sharif Abdul Razzaq, 32, 1028 Parkside Village Dr., Clayton, was charged with three felony counts of obtaining property by false pretenses. When officers attempted to arrest him, he went inside a residence and locked himself out before coming out and submitting to arrest. He was placed in the Johnston County Jail under $250,000 secured bond.

•  Mar. 7, 5:25 p.m., an employee of Walmart on Town Centre Boulevard, reported the larceny of bath towels valued at $270.

•  Mar. 6, 5:40 p.m., officers responded to a home in the 400 block of West Main Street concerning a child custody dispute.

•  Mar. 6, 7:16 p.m., an employee of Walgreens reported that someone attempted to obtain a controlled substance using a falsified prescription form.

•  Mar. 6, 4:43 p.m., Joel Valente reported the larceny of a laptop computer valued at $900 from his car in the Walmart parking lot.

•  Mar. 6, 4:11 p.m., an employee of Walmart on Town Centre Boulevard reported a case of second-degree trespassing after a person who had already been charged with trespassing at the store was seen in the building.

•  Mar. 6, 3:47 p.m. Jeffery Vickers reported the larceny of prescription medicine, electronics and a car title from his vehicle in the 400 block of Collinsworth Drive.

•  Mar. 5, 4:21 p.m., an employee of Walmart, on Town Centre Boulevard, reported the larceny of a cell phone case valued at $30.

•  Mar. 5, 1:36, an employee of Ferguson Plumbing, Yonkers Road, Raleigh, reported seven counts of the use of a stolen credit card at gas stations on US 70 Business West. Someone used the card to make $784 in fraudulent purchases.

•  Mar. 5, 11:29 a.m., an employee of Four Oaks Bank on East Main Street reported three counts of someone deposited fraudulent checks with the bank.

•  Mar. 4, 8:57 a.m., an employee of Wilco Hess on U.S. 70 Business West, reported the fraudulent use of a credit card to make purchases at the store.

•  Mar. 4, 12 a.m., an employee of Four Oaks Bank, East Main Street, reported that someone had deposited fraudulent checks with the bank.

•  Mar. 4, 12:26 p.m., an employee of Ferguson Plumbing reported two incidents of the use of a stolen credit card used to purchase gas at a service station on U.S. 70 Business West

•  Mar. 4, 10:01 p.m., an employee of CVS Pharmacy, on US 60 Business West, reported an attempted armed robbery.
