The Johnston County Register of Deeds Office is in the process of enhancing the technology it uses to conduct real estate research. The new technology will resolve indexing and search issues, according to the county Public Information Officer Melanie F. Proctor.
Proctor said this technology will help the office preserve Johnston County records and make public access easier.
