Brother and sister make honor roll at ECU
Ashley Muirhead and Matthew Muirhead of Clayton, are on the fall honor roll list at East Carolina University. Ashley Muirhead is a senior Matthew Muirhead is a junior at ECU.
To make the Honor Roll Muirhead had carry at least three grade points per credit hour on all their work with no grades below C and no incomplete grades.
Locals honored at Barton College
Clayton residents Ashley Rae Daniels, Lauren A. Horne, Stephanie Christina Jones, Naomi Ruth Miller, Martha McCowan Pridgen, and Holly Michelle Tipton are among the 306 students named to the fall Dean’s List at Barton College.
Students have to achieve at least a 3.3 grade point average to make the Dean’s List.
Locals honored at Appalachian State University
Appalachian State University has released its fall semester Chancellor’s List and Dean’s List.
The list of students named to the Chancellor’s List includes Clayton residents Virginia Brieanne Harter, Jordan Mckenzie Hughes, Daniel Craig Loeven, Savannah Glyn Nobles, Christian Daniel Novak, Lauren Annelise Prigge and Brianna Noelle White.
The list of students named to the Dean’s List includes Clayton residents Alexis Award, Meredith Grey Ballard, Hailey Nicole Barkey, Kyle Lee Benson, Tiffany Rene Blanke, Tyler Blake Cannada, William Kenneth Crabtree Jr., Samantha Louise Doman, Kennedy M. Fitzsimmons, Andrew Shawn Furr, Simona Veselinova Gizdarska, Nicole Rachel Iorio, Jonathan Nicholas Keller, Haley Marie Peter, Megan Elizabeth Rembert, Kelsey Lynn Trevethan and Katlyn Margaret Zulinke.
The Chancellor’s List recognizes full-time undergraduates with at least a 3.85 grade point average. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time undergraduates with at least a 3.45 grade point average who carry 12-14 hours or students with at least a 3.25 grade point average who carry at least 15 hours.

Students on the President’s List maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0. The 847 students who made the Dean’s List maintained a GPA of at least 3.5. Honor roll eligibility is based on a minimum of 12 credit hours of curriculum courses for the semester.
