Clayton incidents

Feb. 20, 5:45 p.m. a woman reported that someone stole her iPod from Wendy’s. Case closed/prosecution declined.

Feb. 20, 1:37 p.m. a woman reported that someone used her credit card to make fraudulent charges. Case under investigation.

Feb. 20, 1:20 p.m. a woman reported someone used her credit card to make fraudulent charges at Wal-mart. Case under investigation.

Feb. 20, 11:26 a.m. a man reported someone stole his wallet at Wal-mart. Items stolen included a North Carolina hunting license, money clip, and $28 cash. Case under investigation.

Feb. 20, 5:20 a.m. a man reported someone broke into his car in the 900 block of Joyner St., stealing two handguns, worth $200 each, and a GPS-system. Case under investigation.

Feb. 18, 4:58 p.m. a woman reported someone stole her identity in the 500 block of Park Place. Case under investigation.

• Feb. 17, 6:18 p.m. an employee at Wal-mart reported that someone left the store without paying for an mp3 player, a lady’s watch, and speakers worth a total value of $86.76. Case under investigation.

• Feb. 17, 1:24 p.m. an employee at Wal-mart reported someone stole clothes from the store worth a total value of $27.59. Case closed/ cleared by arrest.

• Feb. 17, 7:59 p.m. a resident of Averasboro Dr. reported someone stole a license plate from their car. Case under investigation.

• Feb. 16, 11:55 p.m. a woman reported someone stole her car from Clayton Manor Apartments. Case under investigation.

• Feb. 16, 5:36 p.m. an employee of Yellow Cab, based in Raleigh, reported that a passenger ran from a taxi cab and did not pay the cab fare of $59.45. Case inactive.

• Feb. 16, 4:57 p.m. an employee of Sears reported a man stole Craftsman’s tools were $199.99 from the store. Case under investigation.

Clayton arrests

• Feb. 19, 5:30 a.m. Dane Steven Post, 27, of 111 Gracie Lane, charged with driving while impaired. Confined in Johnston County jail under a $500 bond.

• Feb. 18, 5:47 p.m. David Lamont Jenkins, 34, of 416 West Street, charged with assault on a female. Criminal summons, not confined.

• Feb. 17, 2:25 a.m. Joshua Allen Billings, 28, of 2830 Woodside Drive, charged with driving while impaired; confined in Johnston County Jail under a $1,500 bond.

• Feb. 16, 1:09 a.m. James Earl Dixon, 44, of 64 Averasboro Dr., charged with communicating threats; confined in Johnston County jail, bond amount not listed.

• Feb. 16, 1:59 a.m. Amy Patricia Weaver, 37, of 529 Carter St., charged with driving while impaired, resisting a public officer, and expired registration card/tag. Confined in Johnston County Jail under a $4,500 bond.

• Feb. 15, 4:42 a.m. Allen Eugene Deboer, 44, of 128 Telfer Ln., Benson, charged with driving while impaired, driving left of center. Confined in Johnston County Jail under a $1,500 bond.
