Granite Lodge #191 of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons recently sponsored it annual Daddy/Daughter Dance at the Clayton Center. The event was a great way for dads to treat their daughters to a wonderful date. Dads and their daughters posed for portraits, listened to a professional DJ, and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres. This fundraiser supports a number of charities and projects the Masons are involved in.

The Clayton Masonic Lodge not only supports the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford and the Whitestone retirement home in Greensboro, but they also give an annual scholarship to a senior at Clayton High School. Masons are also involved in other capacities in the community, said Lodge spokesman Bennett Jones.
