— Police are searching for two men and a woman who are believed to have stolen a woman’s credit card information and used the card at several Wal-Mart stores as well as other stores.

The three suspects were captured on camera leaving the Clayton Wal-Mart. According to Clayton police, the trio has used the stolen credit card information at stores in Selma, Smithfield, Zebulon, as well as Clayton.

The woman who had her information stolen first noticed fraudulent charges on her account in December. The card was used at Wal-Mart on December 7 and at the Clayton Wal-Mart on December 8. She has had 16 fraudulent charges on her account now. The charges on her account have added up to several hundred dollars, according to town spokeswoman Stacy Beard.

Police are asking anyone who has more information or who recognizes anyone in the photo to call the Clayton Police Department. Calls can be anonymous. Detective P.D. Millar is handling the case. He can be reached at 919-550-5341.
