The Greater Smithfield-Selma Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual meeting Jan. 28 at the Johnston County Agricultural Center in Smithfield. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. with a dinner. During the program following the dinner members will recognize the Chamber Champions and outgoing as well as incoming Chamber Board members and ambassadors.
Four community awards will also be presented: The Jimmy Creech Small Business Person of the Year, The Athena Award, The Distinguished Citizens and the Citizen of the Year.
