The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 10225 is looking for young local artists to participate in the Young American Creative Patriotic Art contest.
The contest is open to high school students (including home school students) who want to express their artistic talents, demonstrate their patriotism, and become eligible for money to college.
The rules and criteria for submissions along with helpful hints are on the auxiliary’s website, vfw10225.org. Judging is based on the originality of concept and patriotism expressed, the content and clarity of ideas, the design, use of color and technique, and the total impact or execution and contrast.
