Clayton business women form new group
Clayton has a new women’s business group, the Clayton Women in Networking Group. This group focuses on promoting business and economic development, increasing civic awareness, community involvement and supporting member businesses, according to club spokeswoman, Sarah Martin.
The women held their first holiday social Dec.19 and Martin says more than 30 women and business owners attended the event.
Attendees all brought a paper product donation for Harbor, a local shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual abuse.
Martin also says group is affiliated with the Clayton Chamber of Commerce. Membership in WIN is open to women members of the Clayton Chamber. For information on the group or how to attend an upcoming meeting email membership@claytonwomeninnetworking.com.
