Recruit completes boot camp

Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Blane R. Taylor recently graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Taylor, the son of Brandon and Darla Taylor of Garner, completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

The 2010 Clayton High School graduate also earned four credits toward an associate’s degree in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
