Corinth Holders quarterback Kenneth Collins, girls tennis coach Jennifer Enyeart and boys soccer coach Brent Walston were among those taking home individual honors from the Northern Carolina 2A Conference for the fall sports season.

Collins was named the offensive player of the year in football. He helped lead the Pirates into the state playoffs for the first time in school history, throwing for 2,793 yards and 24 touchdowns. He completed 196 of his 330 pass attempts.

Enyeart led Corinth Holders to a second place finish in the conference, a 10-5 record and a state dual team playoff appearance.

The Pirates’ soccer team won the conference championship and advanced to the fourth round of the state 2A playoffs.

Senior boys soccer standout Melecio Rubio-Villagran was named to the N.C. Soccer Coaches Association all-state team. He scored 11 goals and posted two assists for the Pirates on the season.
