CLAYTON -- Clayton police have charged a Johnston County teenager in a series of thefts from unlocked cars.
Connor Scott Neas, 17, of Cabin Branch Road, Clayton, faces 14 felony counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle. He has also been charged with nine counts of misdemeanor larceny, one count of felony larceny and one felony count of financial-card theft.
Police said the thief walked through a subdivision in October and stole items from unlocked vehicles. The thefts occurred between Oct. 8 and Oct. 23.
