Clayton residents honored
• The Barton College chapter of Alpha Chi National College Honor Society recently held its fall induction ceremony, and Clayton resident Dustin Keeton was among the inductees. Keeton, a criminal justice and criminology major, had to maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or better.
Students in the top 10 percent of the junior and senior classes are eligible for this honor.
• Michael Alexander Deigan was recently inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Deigan, a senior philosophy and linguistics major at UNC-Chapel Hill, is the son of Kristi Nelson of Clayton and Eric Deigan of Cary.
Deigan had to maintain a grade point average of 3.85 or better to be eligible for this honor.
