Local recruit completes boot camp
Airman Clayton L. Postlethwait recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
Postlethwait is a 2010 graduate of Clayton High School and the son of David Postlethwait of Raleigh.
His eight-week programincluded training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Postlethwait also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
