Corinth Holders High School Marching Band’s 71 member marching band ensemble took first place in Class 1A at the recent regional competition in Rock Hill, S. C. This was the band’s first first regional competition.
Directed by Olivia Dove, the two-year-old marching band program won first place at this event and also competed in the finals.
“The 2012 marching season was a very successful one as they were able to take away in first or second place at many local competitions during the month of October,” said Denise Boyette, vice-president of the band boosters.
