CLAYTON -- Three people were taken to the hospital this afternoon after a truck rammed into a shuttle bus, lifting two of its wheels off the ground and nearly flipping it over on eastbound U.S. 70.
The driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck ran through a red light and collided with a shuttle bus from nearby pharmaceutical plant Grifols around 2:30 p.m. The bus was carrying two passengers from one building on Grifols’ campus to another building.
State troopers closed the portion of U.S. 70 near Pony Farm Road, and traffic was detoured through the Grifols parking lot while troopers and rescue workers cleared the wreckage and spoke with passengers.
