A Clayton youngster was named North Carolina’s Outstanding Little Miss when she represented Johnston County in the Outstanding Little Miss pageant at Louisburg College.

Sloan Elizabeth Mann, daughter of J.D. and Shannon Mann, won the Petite Miss division for girls ages 3-4.

Mann took home top honors for Best Personality and Talent, singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”

The Outstanding Little Miss Pageant is the only sanctioned little sister program to Miss North Carolina. For the next year, the winners, including Sloan, will make public appearances to raise money and bring attention to the Children’s Miracle Network and other causes.
