The Clayton Center is gearing up for its 10th anniversary season which includes Nunset Boulevard, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, The 39 Steps, Sound of Music Sing-a-long, Marty Stuart & The Fabulous Superlatives, Blues Bash VII, and Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom with Peter Gros went on sale last week.
Performances this fall include:
Colin Hay Sept. 7, 8 p.m. Former Men At Work frontman Colin Hay captivates audiences with his musical diversity, quick wit, and classic hits including “Who Can It Be Now” and “Down Under,” as well as his critically acclaimed new releases. $25
Tommy Emman uel Sept. 22, 8 p.m. Emmanuel’s unique “finger style” technique is akin to playing guitar the way a pianist plays piano, using all 10 fingers, $30.
Nunset Boulevard starring Cindy Williams Oct. 18, 8 p.m. The Little Sisters of Hoboken make a stop in Clayton on the way to their latest “Nunsense” adventure, Nunset Boulevard. It would be a sin to miss Cindy Williams, star of TV’s Laverne & Shirley, and the original NY cast in this zany new musical comedy, $32.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Oct. 27, 8 p.m. Get set to swing as Big Bad Voodoo Daddy brings their feel-good big band music to the stage. With hits that include “Go, Daddy-O” and “You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight,” $32.
Alfred Hitcock’s The 39 Steps Nov. 17, 8 p.m. A Tony award-winning adaptation of Hitchcock’s classic film, The 39 Steps is a hilarious whodunit full of hysterical hijinks. This fast-paced slapstick comedy features an amazingly talented cast of four who play more than 140 madcap characters, $30.
