• Feb. 15, 4:38 a.m., Jonathan Roy Gardner, 21, 201Colonial Drive, Clayton, arrested at Powhatan Road/Bestwood Drive for driving while intoxicated, failure to report accident, failure to maintain lane; Johnston County Jail, written promise to appear in court.
• Feb. 15, 12:30 p.m., Loretha Annette Fortune, 41, 326 South Moore Street, Clayton; arrested at 1053 Shotwell Road, Clayton; simple worthless check.
• Feb. 15, 3:00 p.m., Franklin Andrew Huffman, 30, 333 Woodson Drive, Clayton, arrested at home; two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear on charges of simple worthless checks and probation violation; Johnston County Jail, $51,000 Johnston County Jail.
• Feb. 14, 5:30 p.m., Eric Christopher Lorbacher, 26, 406 South Page Street, Clayton; arrested at home on warrants out of Washington and Alamance counties for failure to appear in court on two charges of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana; Johnston County Jail, $950 secured bond.
• Feb. 14, 8:16 a.m., James William Harrington, 21, 314 Gaylee Lake Road, Wendell, arrested by Off. K. Cook for driving while impaired and failing to maintain lane control at 1969 Covered Bridge Road, Clayton; Johnston County Jail; $500 secured bond.
• Feb. 13, 3:37 a.m., Scotty Glen McLamb, 25, 366 Glen Laurel Road, arrested at 11904 U.S.70 Business West, Clayton on outstanding warrants for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges of simple assault Feb. 2; probation violation Jan. 23; second-degree trespassing Sept. 30, 2011; Johnston County Jail, $32,000 secure bond.
• Feb. 11, 12:42 a.m., Lorenzo Donnell Norwood, Jr., 22, 320 Trestlewood Lane, Clayton; arrested at home on a warrant for armed terror of public and simple assault; Johnston County Jail, $1,000 secure bond.
• Feb. 11, 12:53 p.m., James Edward Barnard, 49, 124 Kennel Lane, Clayton, arrested at Clayton Civitan Club, 340 McCullers Drive, for indecent exposure by exposing genitalia in the presence of Kimberly C. Perdue and Perry Dewayne Perdue, Lafoy Drive, Clayton; Barnard held in Johnston County Jail, $1,000 secure bond.
• Feb. 9, 10:00 p.m., Tina Lee Rio, 37, 104 Norwich Drive, Clayton; arrested at residence on one misdemeanor count of domestic simple assault and one misdemeanor count of resisting a public officer; Johnston County Jail, no bond at time of arrest

• Feb. 16, 7:57 a.m., James Oscar Warren, town of Clayton employee, reported an offender discharging four of the town’s fire extinguishers valued at $100 at 1000 Durham Street, Clayton. Closed due to exhausted leads.
• Feb. 16, 11:18 p.m., Clayton police responded to an alarm at K & S Bank at 11591 U.S.70 Business Highway 70 West; the suspect entered the business and took U.S. currency from a secured vault; caused damage of $600 to exterior glass door, $150 of damage to fault door; under investigation.
• Feb. 16, 3:09 p.m., Grace Smith Knox of Four Oaks Bank, Clayton, reported a suspect using a counterfeit check to obtain property under false pretense; victims listed as Four Oaks Bank; Dunn Discount Drug Inc., Harnett County; under investigation.
• Feb. 15, 6:41 p.m., Sonya Evonnie Brown, Garrison Avenue, Clayton, reported a break-in and larceny at her home; a $480 X-Box, $200 X-Box, $250 Wii; $60 Madden 2012 reported as stolen; under investigation.
• Feb. 15, 5:04 p.m., Steven Alton Penny, Little Creek Church Road, Clayton, reported a simple physical assault on somebody with a sexual motive via touching the victim on the buttocks and breasts at Clayton Middle School, 490 Guy Road; under investigation.
• Feb. 14, 7:45 p.m., Off. J. Vause responded to a report of misdemeanor possession of marijuana in a parking lot at the Clayton Mart at 208 East Main Street; cleared by arrest.
• Feb. 14, 9:04 a.m., Margaret Ann Wooley, Holding Street, Clayton, reported a suspect taking away someone’s refrigerator with the purpose of depriving them of its use; refrigerator owned by Apartment Resources in Raleigh; under further investigation.
• Feb. 14, 4:19 p.m., Shirley Whitener Kelly, Nelson Lane, Clayton, reported identity theft by an unknown suspect attempting to withdraw funds from the victim’s account at the Bank of America, 11601, U.S. 70 Business Highway West, Clayton; under investigation.
• Feb. 12, 2:01 p.m., Demetrius Dewayne Jones, 36, 703 South Pollock Street, Selma; misdemeanor charge for driving while impaired, misdemeanor charge for driving while license revoked; cited for open container violation, following too close; arrested at U.S. 70 Business West and Hardee Lane, Clayton; Johnston County Jail, $3,500 secure bond.
• Feb. 11, 10:17 p.m., Ary Hernandez Ayala, Moore Street, Clayton, reported felony larceny of a motor vehicle from a parking lot area near Main Street Jewelers at 236 East Main Street, Clayton; A 2001 gray Dodge Dakota with NC license plate # YRF9427 was reported stolen; under investigation.
