Mike Recser, president of Premier Financial Services of NC, attended training to sharpen his skills and get the most current ways to help veterans and their surviving spouses with financial benefits outside of the traditional VA residential system.

Recser qualified for attendance to this prominent training, provided by U.S. Senior Vets and Patriot Benefits where he joined admired and respected insurance and financial professionals from across the country.

During this time advisors had the opportunity to learn more about the Non Service Connected Disability Pension Benefit, which was established in 1952 under title 38USC. It provides a direct, tax-free monthly pension to help defray the cost of long-term care. With the rising cost of health care many veterans are wondering how to cover the expense of home health care, nursing home care and assisted living. Mike can help both veterans and surviving spouses with their unique cases and review their specific situation to help determine eligibility. Recser understands the "winding road" of the process and can help ensure they have satisfied all of the VA's qualifying criteria.

Recser, a resident of the Clayton for approximately four years, has been offering financial services to local residents since 2008. Along with assisting veterans in obtaining VA long-term care benefits, they specialize in principal-protected retirement solutions, guaranteed lifetime income solutions, estate planning, & tax-free legacy concepts for retirees and pre-retirees. Recser has been married to his wife, Amy, for 14 years & is a proud father of two children, Justin and Abbey.
